Star Wars EMPIRE JEDI 80s MOVIE GAMING STORE DISPLAY ATARI POSTER TRIPTYCH

Here's a set of RARE posters that represents three Goliath entities in entertainment that reigned supreme during the the 20th Century: Star Wars. If you're lucky enough to remember way back then - over three decades ago - you might remember the initial swell of interest in Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and, the 1983 original release of Return of the Jedi. Game maker Parker Brothers and gaming giant Atari decided to cash in on all the Star Wars success by releasing cutting edge video games representing all three films.

They issued these ORIGINAL advertising posters for all three back in the early 1980's. 1982 for Empire and 1983 for Jedi Arena and Return of the Jedi. If you're into collecting rare Star Wars posters you know that these are tough - IMPOSSIBLE as a triptych.

I'm offering all three here! These posters were issued approximately 23x36 inches, give or take an inch as they were NOT issued all at once and vary slightly.

Designed and printed WITHOUT a white border. They call that a full "Bleed" in the advertising industry. ALL three of these posters are tough to handle as they were printed with a special metallic ink that is highly reflective - and are full bleed posters to boot. BEFORE they were backed the posters were stored in a tube - for over 30 years.

Recently, I had them professionally linen-backed and they came out FANTASTIC!! I used the best conservator in the USA. He ONLY uses high-grade materials, such as thicker linen and thicker acid-free Japanese rice paper.

The better materials cost more but make a real difference in the end result. They're flat as a pancake and as clean as can be. What a stellar display representing the vintage trilogy. You won't find nicer posters. You definitely won't find another set of these.

LINEN-MOUNTING is an accepted form of poster preservation by the Library of Congress and every Museum in the country. A lot of advanced poster buyers request and prefer linen-mounted posters because it makes framing and displaying the posters much easier - ESPECIALLY on borderless posters.

As I pointed out, these posters were made with a SILVER border only. The white you see in the photos is the white of the Japanese paper lining the linen border margins. You can see how easy it would be to damage the original posters without that extra margin of protection.

The backing makes the posters much safer to handle - it GREATLY reduces the risk of damaging the originals. Also, all of my linen-backed posters have been stored FLAT so they DO NOT have a curl to them - They're ready for framing and display! If you are looking for an investment/museum quality item - You just found it! Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi Anthony Daniels....

It can crash regardless of any decision you make and can even crash regardless of any decision made by the company related to the stock - Leaving you with a near worthless piece of paper that won't inspire anyone! The magnificence of art and historic documents have an inherent value that relates to civilization and society. Please write with any questions.
