This poster is simply one of the rarest Star Wars posters ever made. I've been focused on collecting Star Wars posters for over 40 years now, and I've only seen two originals surface in all of that time. Also, needless to say, the Topps 1977 Star Wars trading cards are among the most collected items on Star Wars, which makes this near 1-of-a-kind promotional item IMPORTANT and valuable. I've seen high-grade individual cards sell for thousands of dollars on the collector's market. This item, which is about 100,000 times rarer, has unlimited potential beyond any card, as it's a cross-over item, representing posters and cards. This remarkable Topps item was sent to industry people only, meaning it didn't get distributed to the general public. It was also costly to produce, as it was made as a nifty foldout popup poster, which is extremely unusual. The surrounding armature that houses the poster is also extremely interesting.
