Star Wars Japanese Rare Movie Poster 1978 Noriyoshi Ohrai Original
Special Japanese Poster from 1978 (when the movie was first released in Japan) with the first artwork from Noriyoshi Ohrai. It was this incredible poster that when George Lucas saw the artwork, he immediately asked Ohrai to do the artwork for The Empire Strikes Back.
This poster is double sided, with a different image on the back (the Moonbus from 2001, Space Odyssey). It is an extremely rare poster, and even many advanced collectors are unaware of it's existence. This poster was a bonus attachment in a Japanese magazine in 1978, adding to its rarity today. Size: 11" x 20.5". Folded as originally issued and still in the original "Town Mook" magazine it came in.
